Amy Scott’s cousin, Rhyiza Croy, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS)
Amy Scott, the reigning Miss World Scotland, is set to raise awareness of MS (multiple sclerosis) globally as she represents Scotland at the Miss World finals in Telangana, India, in May.

Amy has already raised £3000 for the MS Society after hosting a charity ball and volunteering at fundraising events.
“My priority is to do anything I can to raise awareness of the condition and showcase the work the MS Society and other charities do for people living with the condition in Scotland. As Miss Scotland, I’ve been given a much more elevated platform to raise awareness, so I’m very happy. Hopefully, I can replicate that when I go to Miss World.”
Rhyiza Croy, Miss Scotland’s cousin, was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS) five years ago – the day before her 26th birthday. She told Daily Record she was “overcome with emotion” after Amy chose to fly the flag for the charity that helped her come to terms with her incurable MS diagnosis.
The 31-year-old medical receptionist and her cousin Amy Scott were “inseparable” as children and still enjoy a very close relationship. So when Amy was crowned Miss Scotland last year, no one was more proud than Rhyiza.
